Family Physicians:
Are involved in all aspects of primary care. The  TW FHT family physicians also act as mentors to medical students, medical residents and nurse practitioner students.

Dr. Trevor Robinson is a primary care sport and exercise medicine physician with expertise in ultrasound-guided procedures and musculoskeletal injury management. He completed the Sport and Exercise Medicine Enhanced Skills Program at the University of Toronto in 2024. He holds the Canadian Academy of Sport & Exercise Medicine Diploma in Sport Medicine and is a certificant of the Canadian College of Family Physicians with a Certificate of Added Competence in Sport and Exercise Medicine. Before entering medicine, Dr. Robinson spent four years teaching human anatomy to professional students, drawing on his MSc in Anatomical Sciences from Queen’s University. He also holds a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from the University of Toronto. He earned his medical degree from Queen’s University and completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Toronto. As a member of CASEM, Dr. Robinson is committed to ongoing learning and remains actively engaged in the field of sport and exercise medicine.

With over 20 years of experience as a competitive water polo athlete at the varsity, provincial, and national levels, Dr. Robinson brings a unique athletic perspective to his medical practice. He combines this firsthand knowledge of sport with clinical expertise to help patients optimize performance and recover effectively through evidence-based care.
