WHO WE ARE

The family doctors at our clinic have completed extra training in low risk obstetrical care. They provide prenatal care and deliver babies. Our team looks after both you and your baby during and after your delivery while in hospital.

Family doctors do vaginal deliveries. If you need a Caesarean Section, the obstetrician on call at Mount Sinai Hospital will do your surgery and we will follow you supportively.

Obstetrical Care Program is part of Toronto Western Family Health Team, University Health Network, in partnership with Mount Sinai Hospital.

  • Toronto Western Family Health Team is a teaching site for University of Toronto.
  • Resident doctors and health care trainees are part of our team. They may be involved in your care and appointments.
  • Your appointments will take place at Toronto Western Family Health Team Bathurst or Garrison Creek site.
  • Your delivery will take place at Mount Sinai Hospital.

WE BELIEVE:

  • that pregnancy and childbirth experience is unique to each woman
