If you have a Family Doctor or Primary Care Provider, we recommend speaking with them first. If you are not able to access your Primary Care Provider OR you do not have a provider, Emergency Department (ED) Virtual Visit may be right for you.
What to expect when you request an Emergency Department virtual visit:
Spots can be requested on a first-come first-served basis. We respond to submitted forms 2 hours before the first appointment until the last appointment of the day, Monday to Friday. After hours we will not respond to requests. Please visit our website to view our hours.
If you submit a request during these hours, a Nurse Practitioner will call you within an average of 30 minutes. The Nurse Practitioner will speak with you over the phone to determine if you are eligible for an ED virtual visit.
