The Toronto Western Family Health Team is committed to giving all patients timely and high-quality care. When patients miss appointments, show up late, or cancel at the last minute, it makes it harder for others to get the care they need and disrupts how our clinic runs.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel or reschedule it with at least one full business day's notice (minimum 24 hours). This allows us to offer your time slot to another patient in need.
For appointments scheduled on a Monday or the day after a statutory holiday, cancellations must be made by 10:00 a.m. on the previous business day (typically Friday). Cancellations made after this time—including those submitted over weekends or holidays—will be considered late and subject to a missed appointment fee.
