Primary Care Providers

A family doctor or nurse practitioner is a primary care provider – meaning they are the person you make an appointment with when you have a new, non-emergency health concern. 

  • Family Doctors or Physicians: They are the first point of contact for most health issues and provide ongoing care.   • Nurse Practitioners (NPs): They are registered nurses with advanced training and education and who provide personalized, quality health care to patients. A family doctor and a nurse practitioner can provide:
